[Bug 410461] Re: grub2 takes very long until the menu is displayed

Hi Steven,
grub still takes very long until it displays the menu, but the behaivor has slightly changed, so I'm not sure if it is the same problem. Now, the "loading grub..." string is displayed for that time, and just before the menu appears, for a short moment there is some message, something like "error, no such...."; I can't read it reliably since it flickers only very short, but I suppose 'no such device'.
I checked grub.cfg and device.map, but there are no devices mentioned in those files that are not present in my system.
