To those of us who thought the above suggestions to install eclipse-pde
and eclipse-jdt and/or eclipse-platform were things we should do within
the eclipse software > install new software screen, WE ARE WRONG!

We should be opening the terminal and doing

sudo apt-get install eclipse-pde
