This is a 2.6.32 problem, right?  It is very easy to fix this problem I
think.  Ubuntu (or an "Ubuntu MOTU Developer") needs to upgrade to
Virtualbox 3.0.10+.  Or else just apply the "workaround" discussed here:

Of course assuming that workaround doesn't break 2.6.31 etc.  I can help
with testing if someone tells me what to do.
