Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

We can sync this package from unstable as debian has incorporated the 
only ubuntu change

  * Building against libltdl7.
  * Updating to standards version 3.8.3.

libextractor (0.5.23+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Merging upstream version 0.5.23+dfsg.
  * Renabling rpm plugin, new upstream is compatible with new rpm
    version now.
  * Minimizing rules file.
  * Building with external exiv2 support.
  * Updating section of the debug package.
  * Removing useless dir info file.
  * Disabling automatic run of test suite.
