[Bug 483735] [NEW] gnome-alsa mixer does not respect gconf settings, unable to save settings

In gnome-alsamixer's gui, changing the settings from Edit > Sound Card
Properties will change the panel, however when I return to the panel,
all options are enabled again. Cancelling the options window results in
all options turned back on.

I attempted to manually change the keys in gconf-editor (apps/gnome-
alsamixer), but the changes had no effect. When launching the gnome-
alsamixer, any changes I made to gconf are not reflected in the app. The
gconf changes stay regardless of any setting changes I make in the app.
