[Bug 482612] [NEW] gnomescan shpuld indicate that it is searching for scanners on startup

Binary package hint: gnomescan

when starting gnomescan there is a delay until my scanner is detected.
this delay (with spinning cursor) is not explained and seems weird.
there should be a message "looking for devices" or something like that.
