Hi, we would very much like to help you, but unfortunately we haven't
hear back from you in a while.

As a workaround, I've suggested trying to set "Vendor netscreen" in
/etc/vpnc/default.conf. Did you have a chance to try? Had any luck with
it? Please let us know.

I'll mark this an Confirmed, Wishlist for now, since I vaguely remember
seeing something about supporting this in NM somehow, but I can't recall
how far it went yet. I'll have to speak with Dan Williams to verify
whether this is still going to be done, and if it's just a matter of
timing I can try to hack at a patch.
