Hi,

dmesg is a file. Reboot your computer with the modem plugged in. After,
you can either reply to this email or go directly to the bug web page.
Click to attach a file, and browse to the /var/log directory where you
will find it.

For the "sudo lsusb", simply open a teminal from
Applications/Accessories/terminal. Type "sudo lsusb", without the
quotes. It will ask you for your password, and then you can copy and
paste the results directly from the terminal screen.
