My machine did not freeze. I had a /usr/bin/xine binary with 0 bytes
size and Xine did not start.

After today's updates I got a crash report about the same problem.

I uninstalled xine-ui and got the same error. Then I installed it again,
got the same error but:

dpkg (Unterprozess): kann altes post-removal-Skript nicht ausführen: Exec format error
dpkg: Warnung: altes post-removal-Skript gab den Fehlerwert 2 zurück
dpkg - probiere stattdessen Skript aus dem neuen Paket ...
dpkg: ... sieht so aus, als hätte das geklappt.

Which means as much as "old post-removal-script returned error 2, trying
script of the new package instead, it looks like this succeeded"

Xine works now.

So I guess this is fixed in the current xine-ui package but the update
manager fails on it and a manual remove-install fixes it.
