I run the command "atop -PCPU,cpu" and get the following output:

As per default, the interval in the fragment above is 10s.
atop is reporting against a max of 100 clock ticks per sec.
So I always expect to see Idle values < 10*100 = 1000 for an individual
core ("cpu" rows) , and < 2000 for both cores added together ("CPU"
rows).
In practice there are regular occasions when idle exceeds these limits.
Also I expect to be able to add up the various categories and get 1000 -
but I don't seem to be able to come anywhere close...
** Affects: atop (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
