[Bug 479562] [NEW] mythfrontend sometimes does not respond to lirc events

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mythtv

Sometimes when I start `mythfrontend`, it does not respond to events
from LIRC. Keyboard input works just fine. I can see LIRC working from
the output of `irw` and my "application starter" script, which is run by
`irexec`. If I kill the front-end and start it again, the remote
usually works.

I have a iMON-PAD (15c2:0036), which now works out of the box with 9.10
:-)

Note: mythfrontend.real has multiple <defunct> children, and MythTV
sometimes crashes or exits TV mode, especially when programs start and
end.
