Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose

Considering photos as a virtualbox share (ubuntu is running as a guest, with guest utils installed),
trying to mount the share doesn't work with mount command :

# mount -t vboxsf -o uid=1000 photos /home/matthieu/photos/
/sbin/mount.vboxsf: mounting failed with the error: Protocol error

But works with mount.vboxsf binary :

# /sbin/mount.vboxsf -o uid=1000 photos /home/matthieu/photos/

Host version of virtualbox is 3.0.10 on mac os x 10.6.

** Affects: virtualbox-ose (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
