this is amazing, 
the driver ath5k sometime works sometime no.

the trick :

if you have a laptop unplug battery and the voltage , now with the
computer  without any power source plugged keep the start button , i
mean the button to turn on your computer , for 10-20 seconds

now turn on the computer and voiltà this fucking atheros should work.

i have tested a lots of time on my pc, if you reboot your computer often
it seems atheros card can mess up . but if you use this trick ath5k can
works for you.

of course with madwifi there is not this problem... even here on karmic
