I'm running virtualbox 3.0.10 on jaunty and I could not get my usb
devices enabled in my virtualbox task bar because of this problem. I had
manually add my self to the vboxusers group inorder for it to work.

I believe this feature request is still valid.

Actually I believe that it should always add the current user to the
group by default.

Although this was for version 3 and probably not "ose" version. This
problem mostlikely still applies to older versions.
