Phillip Spencer I bet you are having issues with bug #417757 at least
with your laptop it made my system feel slow and icky, but there are
some temp fixes in the thread that may help.

I believe bug #417757 is the cause of this bug, at least for some. It
causes long DNS lookups. This bug is becouse DNS lookups are taking too
long. Of course the timeout also may need to be justed because a upgrade
should not fail just because of a long lookup.

Well, that is at least, my semi-novice opinion?
