Same issue here - annoying because it is grub and since I have a multi
boot m/c I was wary of altering anything which would cause the machine
not to boot correctly (another one to many potential wasted hours
recovering from that mess!).

I If the "side by side" comparison had been displayed as a default I
would probably have realised that it was not a fatal difference and not
got into the cancel trap.

The moral seems to be: If it is GRUB, then please give us all the
information up front because anyone who has ever been bitten by a grub
error will treat any potential failure of grub as ubuntu hari-kiri :)
