Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kile
When I type a simple dot, Kile will pop up the code completion menu and
try to sell me the commands \, \backslash, \LaTeX, \TeX etc. This can be
annoying if I want to type a dot and a new line after that, as I have to
close the popup menu before I hit enter (hitting enter directly would
chose the first entry of the popu menu which is of course not what I
wanted).
To reproduce, just type a . and wait a second. Works with my Kile always.
This bug did not appear before I updated Ubuntu: I used to work with a 9.04 and have the up-to-date 9.10 of Nov 06. My Kile version is Version 2.0.83 (KDE 4.3.2) which appears to be a beta version, but its the version in the repositories.
