[Bug 476809] [NEW] glunarclock fail on startup with I/O timeout

Public bug reported:

In the answers section we received a request on how to fix a problem
with glunarclock which couldn't be added to the panel.

Some investigation showed that the program also fails to start on my
system with an I/O timeout trying to communicate with the Bonobo
activation server:
