[Bug 475920] Re: not shutting down but rebooting

I'm experiencing this same issue in Xubuntu 9.10 when I try to "Shut
Down." Xfce seems to log out and my monitor turns off, but then the
laptop hangs and never powers off. This is a Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM
laptop. Everything else in Xubuntu 9.10 is great though! :-)
