Well as far as I can see, maybe re-enabling the i810 driver would solve
the problem, or making an alternate set of xserver-xorg-video-intel
driver that would be the same as the one of jeunty would do te trick...

Anyow, I do not see any option the is able to solve that problem with
the current intel driver...
