Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
After upgrading from 9.4 to 9.10 the VM's (Ubuntu and Win XP) will not
start correctly. Error message is:
Failed to start the virtual machine Ubuntu-9.4-server.
Unable to restore the virtual machine's saved state from '/home/michael/.VirtualBox/Machines/Ubuntu-9.4-server/Snapshots/{f33d4d83-a0eb-4e27-9cb1-c20336e899c6}.sav'. It may be damaged or from an older version of VirtualBox. Please discard the saved state before starting the virtual machine (VERR_SSM_LOAD_CONFIG_MISMATCH).
Details:
Result Code:

Component:

Interface:

I did try to delete some of the save snapshots but the same result.
Maybe the VM was not converted correctly during the upgrade.
I tried uninstall VirtualBox and reinstall again, same result.
Virtual box is 3.0.8_OSE r53138 now in 9.10, unfortunately I don't know
the version included in 9.4.
