Thankyou SO much. This has been bugging me since upgrading from Jaunty
to Karmic alpha. or from VLC 0.x to 1.x. Can't remember which but it's
been ages. And your workaround is perfect! Maybe I set it up not to be
embedded a long time ago when I set up Jaunty and forgot. I wouldn't
have tried doing it this time if it hadn't been for your reply.
