@Wolfgang: I am using 32 bit Karmic so it may be isolated to that
release or to something specific in my setup or hardware. Would you have
any idea what tests I can do to narrow down the issue? Considering the
error seems to occur in Python, is there anything I can check or enable
in Python that would enable me to capture the root cause of the problem?
Or is there any way I can enable Apport for Blender so that it is
triggered when the problem occurs and can capture more info?
