Thanks, I have applied:
 - build-depend on libxt-dev
 - set GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS on startup
 - ECLIPSE_BUILD_ARCH setting for additional archs

fix any/all dependencies:
eclipse-platform depends on the source:Version and not on the binary:Version. Therefore I do not think that we should loose the dependency to greater or equal.

build required config only:
Our current package does not provide the file eclipse-build-config/build.properties.in.

Why does eclipse-platform-data replace eclipse-platform (<<
3.5.1+repack~1-0ubuntu1)?
