[Bug 468961] [NEW] unable to configure the ttf-mscorefonts-installer .. the files downloaded from web are only 262 bytes which seems to be the problem

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: msttcorefonts

The files downloaded from the link in the deb files seems to download smaller incorrect files which given an error when it actually tries to install these files.
I am not sure how the deb file actually gets the link to the *.exe fonts files.
I tried a few suggestions on the net but it doesn't really seem to work
