[Bug 356756] Re: Cannot install comedi-source on jaunty -- libtool (< 2.0) required but 2.2.6a-1ubuntu1 is to be installed

I downloaded the comedi kernel sources and went through their install
process. It did not complain about the libtool version 2.2?? and the
resulting module loads, configures and comedi_test runs to completion
without error for the pcmcia card I am using.

I have not, however, been able to get comedi_record or KTimeTrace to use
the card. Both of them error out.

I do not know if this is because the compile is bad, or some other
incompatibility.

I sure would like it if the package from the repository would install.
It would remove at least one source of error on getting this working.
