Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt-file

I am running a local ubuntu mirror, ftp://ubuntu.cs.tu-dortmund.de. When
I do an "apt-file update", an error occurs:

gzip: /var/cache/apt/apt-file/ubuntu.cs.tu-
dortmund.de_ubuntu_dists_jaunty_Contents-i386.gz: not in gzip format

But the file on the server is correct. /var/cache/apt/apt-
file/ubuntu.cs.tu-dortmund.de_ubuntu_dists_jaunty_Contents-i386.gz is
not the file from the server, but a listing of the directory where the
file resides on the server.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: apt-file 2.2.0
PackageArchitecture: all
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: apt-file
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686

** Affects: apt-file (Ubuntu)
