Charlie, thanks for answering. I don't know if it's the only page that
causes firefox to crash. I don't think I visit many pages with java
applets. If you know some, please point me there, I'll test them.

But even if it's the only page, I don't agree: Firefox may reject a
faulty applet or it may, in extremis, crash - but the current behaviour
(where even killing it and restarting it does not bring it back to live)
is not something to live with. Please don't close this bug, even if we
don't find many more applets that have the problem!
