[Bug 376934] [NEW] vzdump /dev/null: Permission denied

Binary package hint: vzdump
The problem is the following.
Using OpenVZ Ubuntu kernel with lvm and vzdump tool, after creating the backups with
vzdump --compress --snapshot --all
and then redeploying those on a different machine or system, the special node file /dev/null is being created with the wrong permissions. And the VM users are getting error:
-bash: /dev/null: Permission denied
The both systems, and containers are on Ubuntu 8.04.2, with vzdump v1.1-1 installed.
Assuming that this problem wasn't reported before, I believe it's a Ubuntu related problem (kernel/udev).
None of the solutions described here helps:
