Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-do-plugin-rhythmbox

Twice I have performed a clean install of Ubuntu 9.0.4 from an install
disk. In both cases, when listening to a CD with Rythmbox, the audio
plays for 16 seconds then a 2 second gap appears, then plays again for
16 seconds, followed by a two second gap & etc.

When listeing to web MP3 or PLS broadcast, Totem is called up by
Firefox, downloadsthe initial audio file, then simply dissapears without
making any sound. Totem has prviously downloaded the appropriate codecs.

When I erased the hard drive and re-intalled Version 8.1.0, I don't have
either problem. When I then re-loaded V 9.0.4 as an upgrade to V 8.1.0,
the problem re-appeared.
