[Bug 375745] [NEW] unable to register clients with pioneers-server in jaunty

This problem seems to only appear in a fresh installed ubuntu 9.4:
After having started pioneers server clients cannot connect to the server.
Here is the Terminal output:

~$ pioneers-server-gtk --debug01:34:38 [INFO] Bereite Spiel vor #1242171278.G.556\n
ai port is 5556
01:34:45 - Computerspieler-Typ: greedy
01:34:45 - Verbinde zu localhost Port 5556
01:34:45 *FEHLER* Fehler beim Verbinden zum Rechner 'localhost': Connection refused

The client's status is marked as not connected.

After a discussion on ubuntuusers.de I decided to report this bug. It
seems that only new installs of ubuntu 09.04 are affected...
