[Bug 375688] [NEW] Visual glitches quickly moving pointer over categories

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: netbook-launcher

Steps to reproduce:
 1. move pointer on left pane (application categories)
 2. quickly move mouse up and down

Expected result:
 When you stop moving no category should be highlighted

Current result:
 Sometime one or more categories are "tainted", showing themself as higlhlithed while the pointer is away
