** Tags added: packaging patch

** Description changed:

libdkim-dev is not available in hardy since it was superseded by dkim-
  milter which was subsequently deleted.

In intrepid and onwards this issue has been resolved by increasing the
epoch number in the package version and once I have this bug number I'll
add a debdiff which will do the same for hardy.

I believe this to a suitable candidate for consideration for SRU to
  hardy for the following reasons:-

  a) minimal patch - only the changelog is changed.
  b) non-critical package.
  c) obviously safe - no source change, this is a package version bump only.

The proposed new package version is greater than latest (deleted)
version in hardy due to the epoch bump and is also less than the version
in intrepid so a version conflict should not occur (checked with dpkg
  --compare-versions).

For one use case, having this package available in the repositories
would allow someone to build a custom exim4 daemon that links to
libdkim0 using pbuilder (without resorting to their own custom
  repositories).
+
+ The test case is straightforward, either libdkim-dev is available in the
+ repository or it isn't, can be checked with apt-cache policy (from a
+ hardy machine) or similar methods.
