Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cherokee

# Abstract

installing and then trying to run the cherokee server results in an
immediately failure due to the missing php-cgi interpreter

# Steps to reproduce

$ sudo aptitude install cherokee
$ sudo cherokee-admin

load page in browser, notice that cherokee process isn't running, click
'launch' button, get failure message:

"""
Could not launch the server

Something happened while launching the server. The error reported by the
server follows:

source_interpreter.c:313: ERROR: Couldn't find interpreter 'php-cgi -b /tmp/cherokee-php.socket'
"""

# Difference between actual and expected

cherokee should launch out of the box, if the config references php-cgi
then that package should be installed automatically else the config
should be modified to remove the php dependency

# Fix / Workaround

$ sudo aptitude install php5-cgi

cherokee launches fine
