It seems totem with gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad doesn't play "application/x-mmsh" type strings in other Linux distros too, look for example at ArchLinux forum:

I've tested http://www.lrt.lt/ltv-LT-high.asx with Ubuntu 9.04
(gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad are installed on my system) and got exactly
same problem as in ArchLinux. Lithuanian National Radio and Television
(LRT) public broadcaster cares only about Windows users :(
