[Bug 317164] Re: [need-update] glabels to latest stable version Release 2.2.4 (Stable) in Ubuntu 9.04

I am the upstream developer for glabels.  2.2.3 and 2.2.4 are definitely
completely broken on 9.04.  Please update to 2.2.5 as soon as possible.

Getting bug fixes pushed downstream has been a long standing issue.  It
does no one any good if I fix bugs but they do not get pushed to the end
users for months or even years.  Is there anything I can do to help
facilitate the process, short of packaging it myself for each
distribution?
