[Bug 373263] [NEW] Hardy 8.04: Audacious Not Launching Anymore

The other day my audacious had been working, but when I tried to play a
new song, the program closed and now will not launch anymore.

I do not have the audacious-crossfade plugin installed, which seems to
be the usual cause from other posts. I have used the synaptic package
manager to uninstall and then reinstall with no success.
