Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

Description:	Ubuntu 9.04
Release:	9.04
Arch: amd64
Package: firefox-3.5

Multiple pages return a 404 ("File Not Found Firefox can't find the file
at") on browser start-up. Current versions of Adblock Plus, Session
Manager, and Flashblock are installed. A group of tabs is loaded via
Session Manager.

About one out of 5 of the restored tabs exhibit this problem. The
problem occurs if I attempt to reload the page or open a new tab with
the same URL. This may occur, albeit less frequently, when loading other
pages not from a session startup via session manager: I've noticed more
frequent 404s since installing 9.04, but have not noticed anything
specific. This problem does not occur randomly within a session: one
site/URL either works or does not work.

This problem appears to be specific to Shiretoko/the firefox-3.5 package
and, I suspect, occurs upstream as well. It did not occur with a nightly
build of 3.1 I'd been using for the past month (on 8.10). I've verified
that there isn't a network problem. I've also verified the pages exist
with Arora and links2.

Pages where this has occurred for me are:

http://dynagen.org/tutorial.htm
http://docs.wxwidgets.org/stable/wx_wxevthandler.html#wxevthandler
http://wxwidgets.org/docs/technote/tn0008.htm

In wireshark when hitting these sites, it would appear that there's a
checksum issue at the TCP level which might be attributing to this.
(I've attached the dump.)

** Affects: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
