I tried what you are suggesting, but in my case even if I disable "Allow
other users to view your desktop" the cpu keeps being intensively used.

I confirm that

dbus-monitor | grep 'string \"[a-zA-Z\.]*\.[a-zA-Z\.]*\"'

gives same output as you're saying, even if I disable "Allow other users
to view your desktop"
