Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: aptoncd

When I finished my necessary Installations after setting up the system ,
I ran Apt on CD to make a backup of downloaded packages . When i begin
the process , the program begins gathering information about the
installed packages , nothing happens , but when it begins creating the
image , the program is halted suddenly and the process fails. I tried to
check why , i found that at that time the system resource was used
deeply . (I have 1Gb of memory and 2Gb of SWAP memory and a processor of
Intel Pentium 3.0 GHz with 2Mb of cache memory).

And this is not the first time i face this problem , even under
"Intrepid". Fortunately I know how to make a manual backup of my
packages!!

** Affects: aptoncd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
