Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pympd

The file /usr/bin/pympd explicitly uses Python 2.5 as the interpreter:

--- snip ---
#!/usr/bin/python2.5
--- /snip ---

Some lines below the module 'pympd' is imported:

--- snip ---
import pympd
--- /snip ---

which is installed in the 2.6 module path:

/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/pympd

but not in the 2.5 tree.

As a result module import fails and pympd does not start.
