Thanks. The options in your xorg.conf should not be needed. It is not an
AGP card (FastWrites are broken and not supported BTW), and EXA should
be default on radeonhd. Does AccelDFS make a difference? Not sure it is
supported on radeonhd.

The zero frequencies in xrandr does not look good:
  1024x768 (0x102)    0.0MHz *current
        h: width  1024 start    0 end    0 total 1024 skew    0 clock    0.0KHz
        v: height  768 start    0 end    0 total  768           clock    0.0Hz

Feel free to report this at bugs.freedesktop.org, or we will do it
later. Attach the log from your tarball.
