[Bug 352629] [NEW] jaunty package affected by Gnome Bug 575475

Public bug reported:

vala 0.5.7 has a Bug which stops some apps from compiling right, gnome2-globalmenu just for example.

Please consider including the patch... or upgrading to vala 0.60 which
should have the fix (not sure)
