Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gtk-recordmydesktop

When I do one of my fantastic(ally long) tutorials or demos on youtube (see user: rofthorax), I'm limited to 2GB by gtk-recordmydesktop, it can't be the filesystem, and it isn't the cpu? (Pentium D in 32-bit mode).
I think that gtk-recordmydesktop was accidently compiled for smaller filesize.. I might try to recompile it
for myself to see if I can up the limit.. I hit it recording a hour long video demosntrating oblivion on wine.

Note, on youtube I have greater than ten minute limit because I'm a
director.

Also when converting the videos to a smaller size with oggconvert, it can't handle a incomplete ogg and
shows a crazy estimate of time, something like "-16666777 - 1:30:00 minutes left". So it may be a integer limit
or something.

I'm using XFS as my "/home" filesystem.
And ext2 as "/"
The drive partition size for "/home" 360GiB, the "/" is 96GiB.
81GiB available in "/" and 40GiB available in "/home".
(Note: Blech, GiB is the new name for GB, the base 2 storage nomenclature versus English base 10, all for the sake of saving money on SD card limits, what are they saving really? )

I read somewhere that ulimit should show filesize limits (ulimit -a)..
