Public bug reported:
The gmail-notify popup is sometimes misplaced (generally too high).
Looking at the source, it is due to the function gtk.Window.get_size which doesn't always gives the correct size of the window (see http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-gtkwindow.html#method-gtkwindow--get-size)
I join a patch with which it seems to work.
gmail-notify : 1.6.1-3ubuntu3
Steps to reproduce :
- click the gmail-notify icon to get the plugin
- while the plugin is rising, do anything related to X (opening new window(s), rotating the cube with compiz, etc.)
What happens (sometimes) :
- the popup is not at the height it should be (as specified in the configuration options)
** Affects: gmail-notify (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
