Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: youtube-dl
youtube has this new feature where you can use # to skip directly into a
video. So youtube-dl should not reject URLs with # in them, instead it
should ignore the #BLAH part and download the FLV as usual (maybe a note
should be about the whole video being downloaded).
Here is an example of a valid youtube URL and fails in youtube-dl:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-m8--uWh9s#t=0m23s
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: youtube-dl 2008.03.22-1
PackageArchitecture: all
ProcEnviron:
PATH=(custom, user)
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: youtube-dl
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64
** Affects: youtube-dl (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Tags: amd64 apport-bug
