Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gajim
gajim does not flush or sync configuration file rewrites, which it does
frequently (separate report). This can lead to data loss with ext4 and
potentially other filesystems.
I believe the attached patch should correct this. I'm currently using
it without issue here.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ath_hal
Package: gajim 0.12.1-0ubuntu2 [modified: usr/share/gajim/src/common/optparser.py]
ProcEnviron:
PATH=(custom, user)
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: gajim
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64
** Affects: gajim (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
