Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-schedule

It does not seem possible to cannot launch a program that pops up
anything. It would be nice to have that in addition to what gnome-
schedule gives already.

I guess this is a general problem with cron jobs, since these processes
are not authenticated to contact your display. So this affects anything
that runs from gnome-schedule as well.

I'm seeing this behaviour in Hardy (kernel 2.6.24-23) and Gnome-schedule
2.0.2, but I'd be very surprised if this was release, kernel or version
specific.

** Affects: gnome-schedule (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
