- using seahorse as included in ubuntu:

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.

info on my bug:

I copied the first ascii armored public key appearing here:
http://www.pitt.edu/~poole/PGP.htm and selected [edit] -> [paste keys]
from seahorse.

- If i use Opera to copy the public key i get this error message:

<big><b>Couldn't import keys</b></big>

Unrecognised key type, or invalid data format

- if I use Firefox to copy the key then nothing happens at all.

What i see when I paste the keys i copied using Opera and Firefox into
gedit look the same in each case, If it helps.
