Is this still happening? If so, please install debug packages (*-dbg)
and report the traces again.

Anyway this really looks like memory corruption as there is a single
thread and GSlice is unlikely to fail in that case under normal
circumstances. If possible run this under valgrind --trace-children=yes:

   valgrind --trace-children=yes netbook-launcher
